The Rehabilitation Centre
Tracey and Peter founded Mosswood Wildlife by responding to a need in their community.
Since then Mosswood Wildlife has been growing and adapting. After 15 years of rescuing native animals and providing treatment, Mosswood Wildlife has created a new Rehabilitation Centre for animals to recover until they are able to return to the wild. Our new facility has an onsite medical treatment area, improving our ability to provide specialized care for an even greater number of animals.
Mosswood Wildlife are extremely fortunate to have a full veterinary clinic at our centre, and an exceptional vet who volunteers his time for the animals we care for. This fact allows us to provide life saving treatment when our animals need it most. Additionally, we minimise expenses associated with out-sourcing healthcare, ensuring our funds go a long way.

Our Partners

At Mosswood Wildlife we are very proud of our relationship with The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). The IFAW team have been there for us when we need help the most. We have received critical resources, expert advice and guidance, often before we can even ask for help. IFAW are a global non-profit organisation helping animals and people thrive together. They believe that every individual animal matters and are always striving to improve welfare outcomes for native wildlife; that’s why they support Mosswood Wildlife!
Thanks to IFAW, even more injured native wildlife have been given a second chance of survival and of being returned to the wild where they belong.
