Sponsor a Koala in Care at Mosswood Wildlife!
At Mosswood, every joey has a unique story. You can help us give these orphaned koalas a bright future.
With your sponsorship you will be given a digital certificate for the sponsorship of your chosen koala joey plus that warm and fuzzy feeling for knowing you are supporting the care for one of Mosswood’s current orphaned koala joeys!
Meet some of the adorable residents you’ll be supporting:
Little madame Fleur came to Mosswood after her mum was killed by dogs leaving her orphaned.
Fleur has had to grown up faster than she thought being without mum but she soon leaned into the ways of the crazy koala club with the other joeys and is now is a very different koala.
From precious and pedantic to bold and adventurous, she’s not such a danty little flower anymore!
This cuddle, snuggle and pouch loving koala is Jasper. He was found clinging to his mum after they were hit by a vechicle. Sadly, Mum koala died from her injuries, however Jasper was fortunate to have no physical wounds so he came to join us at Mosswood.
Jasper is a simple boy, he just loves company, cuddles, connection and if his not snug in his pouch, his cozied up with a teddy bear.
The life of the party has arrived and it’s Kirra! With an unfortunate start as her mum was killed by dogs. Luckily, Kirra the tough cookie she is was left just with a small cut above her eye and the spirit of a fighter.
Kirra is first for milk, first to the door, first for cuddles and then first to zoom off doing another death defying jump. Our little Energiser bunny, Kirra.
Koala joey, Puds is a calm and gentle soul who loves nothing more but to sit and eat her gumleaves! After a storm the mum and bub pair were found on the ground under a broken branch suspected to have fallen. Mum koala succumbed to her injuries, leaving us with her little Puddin’.
Lucky for us Puddin’ is easy to identify at the moment by her more rich brown furr colouring and she’s a great eater so often caught with a leaf in her mouth.
Meet PJ, Mosswood’s unofficial mascot, affectionately known as ‘the leaf thief.’
PJ was brought to Mosswood as a joey when his mother required medical care. Now grown, he still visits Mosswood as part of his territory, stealing eucalyptus leaves along the way!
Sponsorships made to Mosswood Wildlife are tax deductible and will go directly toward the care of wildlife in need. The treatment that each animal requires can be extremely costly, as are the day to day costs associated with running a facility of this scale.
